Yasmeen Minhas Founder Principal Mrs. Yasmeen Minhas is the Founder Principal and one of the co-founders of Foundation Public School. Possessing an enigmatic personality and an extensive administrative experience she guides and inspires students and teachers alike. With over 40 years of administrative experience, she was involved with the administration of a school before FPS was even founded, her prime focus is on the personal and professional development and growth of the overall staff. Her passion for community service goes a long way. She has been proudly managing the Maimoona Butt Memorial School for the past 40 years which caters to the underprivileged children of a slum area in Karachi. Furthermore, she has also been running the RKM School in Mansehra for the past 12 years. Mrs. Minhas strongly believes that learning never stops and therefore attends conferences in Pakistan and abroad herself and encourages her teachers to attend training workshops as well. Mrs. Minhas has attended conferences hosted by NESA (Near East South Asia Council of Overseas Schools) and the School Administrators’ Conferences in India, Greece, Malaysia, Nepal, Jordon and Turkey. She was also a delegate at the Teachers Conference in Egypt and has participated in the Administrators' Conference of ECIS (European Council of International Schools) in Portugal and France as well. Mrs. Minhas obtained her Master’s Degree in Home Economics from Karachi University and an MS in School Administration and Supervision from Syracuse University, New York, USA.
Sabiha Mohammad Founder Principal Mrs. Sabiha Mohammad's interest and forte has been and continues to be in Early Childhood for the past 20 years. She has attended several conferences and workshops on education in Pakistan and abroad. As a member of NESA (Near East South Asia Council of Overseas Schools) Mrs. Mohammad has attended the Administrators’ Conferences in Nepal, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, Sri Lanka and Portugal. She is also a member of ECIS (European Council of International Schools) and has attended their conference in France. As a member of NAESP (National Association of Elementary School Principals in USA) and having attended the Principals’ Conference in New Orleans, USA, Mrs. Mohammad was the only Asian among the 7000 principals present at the event. Mrs. Sabiha Mohammad has developed a reading program for Nursery and Kindergarten children based on phonics and sight-reading. She is the creative executor of the MRP (Motivational Reading Program) which is the hallmark of Foundation Public School and has helped develop a reading culture among the students.
Raza Minhas Managing Director Mr. Raza Kamal Minhas is a founder member and the Managing Director of Foundation Public School. He has over 35 years of experience in school management and is responsible for the overall administration and managing the school business. His expertise is in the realm of general administration and school business affairs. He brings a deep commitment to FPS’s mission of educating students and developing them as future leaders in all walks of life. Mr. Minhas believes in keeping abreast with the changes that are taking place in the field of education, hence he frequently attends sessions and seminars to keep updated with the latest educational trends. He ensures that FPS keeps up with the latest trends and technological innovations in the field of education. Mr. Minhas is a member of NESA (Near East South Asia Council of Overseas Schools) and has attended the School Administrators' Conference in India, Greece and Egypt. He has also attended the Administrators’ Conference of ECIS (European Council of International Schools) in Portugal and France.
